We are a global consultancy, production partner, and collaborative studio without a specific product niche or focus.

We specialize in developing and manufacturing entirely custom goods and packaging for brands, studios, and designers rooted in doing good and driving culture forward in a creative, purposeful way.

We bridge the gap between your concept and the finished, design-forward product, eliminating the challenges of creating high-quality, custom production results. We work across industries and with any material, taking on projects, products, clients, themes, ideas, and missions — no matter how large, small, or complex.

ĀRVAM is proudly a BIPOC woman-owned company led by Jennytha Raj. In 2014, she founded Mering, a manufacturing agency that later became part of a larger portfolio. ĀRVAM is her new endeavor, a continuation of her commitment to helping bring ideas to life.

What We Do

  • We define, guide, and advise in the realm of ethical manufacturing and product development. For example, we can help audit your material list, define your product requirements, provide sustainable material alternatives to your existing products, set up your supply chain, or validate your design for manufacturing.

  • You design it, we make it. We manage unique manufacturing projects from start to finish, of any number of SKUs and any material type. We have no fixed MOQs or minimum order fees, working as best as we can to make only the quantity you require with no excess or wastage. Our service is flexible, meaning you can pick and choose our offerings on a per-project basis, and are also not locked into long term service contracts - just use us when you need us! This means you can manufacture with lower overhead costs and produce one-of-a-kind ideas and designs, all with the on-the-ground support to give yourself both a peace of mind and more time in your day by letting us take care of the nitty gritty.

    ARVAM Labs exists for us to pursue projects and experiments that spark our curiosity. Sometimes we embark on these endeavours ourselves, while other times we collaborate with our creative partners and network. There are also times we leverage our network and our services to realize the ideas of our creative partners, friends, and non-profits too.

    Essentially, ARVAM Labs is a means for us to work with talented individuals across various industries to bring exciting ideas to life and engage in fun, innovative experiments of all kinds.

WHAT DOES ĀRVAM MEAN?

Our company name comes from the word — ஆர்வம் (aarvam) — meaning ‘curiosity’ in Tamil

It shapes our project selection, drives us to explore new challenges, influences our work approach, guides who we work with, inspires our in-house creative pursuits, and informs how we advise clients on their products. Curiosity fuels our growth, inspiring us to transform possibilities into realities.
